Purpose of the role:

As the Manager you will play an active part in managing the change process and improving the way clients are taken on. Over the past few years my client has undergone a number of exciting changes including systems enhancements and improvements to working practices.

Specific duties:

In terms of day to day activity, the team is responsible for maintaining all client (current and prospective) information. New client information is processed by the team and essential checks (including credit, AML and conflict) are performed on every single instruction. The team carry out regular data validity checks to ensure that what is held is appropriate and accurate.

With the change in legislation in 2018, you will need to be aware of the impact of GDPR and take a lead in adjusting business activity where necessary. Your change management skills will be called upon to ensure the service levels remain high even during this significant transition period.

As well as ensuring that the client activity is carried out in accordance with the regulatory requirements outlined above, the team is also responsible for maintaining client contact data which contributes to our business development efforts.

You will be responsible for the day to day management and overall development of the team (comprised of eight Data Assistants and a Data Supervisor). As the subject matter expert, you will also ensure that your team is fully briefed on policy, compliance and legislation changes that will directly affect the way in which they work.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to complex queries are essential attributes. You will be commercially aware and enthusiastic about developing your team and enhancing existing processes. You must have a solid understanding of data management principles and how CRM systems are utilised, however we will offer full training on the systems we use (Interaction and Aderant).

Identification of business improvements is a central part of this role. You will have played a central role in delivering process improvement and successful change in your current or previous roles. Confident with delivering through others, you will manage beyond your authority to help deliver smooth change and organisational transformation.
