Client Manager

A shopper media agency based in Manchester need an exceptional Client Manager to help make connections between retailers, their brands and their shoppers.

Using creative thinking and precision planning, you will manage every part of the retailer's media estate to create happier shoppers, better brand awareness and brilliant business results. Through this you will build long-term partnerships that add real value.

The opportunity:

Working with and managing a portfolio of clients and their brands, you will be responsible for full client campaign delivery from brief to implementation and evaluation.

Key day to day responsibilities include:

Category ownership: You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients. You will need to establish a good understanding of your clients' businesses, both to identify and close opportunities and to mitigate risks. You will seek out all new business opportunities (within and outside your clients) to help us deliver our ambitious growth targets.

People management: You will be responsible for the line management of your direct reports (which could range from Client Associate through to Senior Client Executive) against clear objectives, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work, offering on-going day to day support and identifying training needs.

Relationship Management: You will help build the relationships with your clients, being ultimately responsible for delivering a great client service that closes business and ensures continued loyalty. You need to develop a detailed understanding of the landscape in which the agency operates to confidently manage client requests and deliver presentations with credibility and confidence. You will be managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including retail buyers, brand marketers, shopper marketing managers and more.

Campaign creation, implementation and evaluation: You will be responsible for participation in brainstorms to help create campaigns that will deliver results for our clients. Once they've agreed the activity, you will deliver the campaign for them against agreed budgets and timelines, working with (and managing where appropriate) key contacts both internally and externally. You will also assist in the evaluation of media performance and presenting results back to brands.

You will report directly to a Senior Client Manager.
