Client Manager

  • Facilitate the relationship between Walter Scott and its clients by providing a first class service

  • Ensure the dissemination of all client information through accurate and up to date logging in Salesforce

  • Support the Head of Client Management with information flows that come through the Client Management team

    • As part of Client Management and working closely with the Client Investment Managers (‘CIM’), acting as a principal Walter Scott internal and external contact for all segregated client related queries

    • Work with CIM to develop a strategy for the relevant business segment and its subsequent rollout and monitoring

    • Facilitate the sharing of key client information across all Walter Scott stakeholders through the use of Chatter, RAG status reports, and assisting with the accurate and timely updating of briefing notes

    • Act as the primary contact for clients’ day to day queries, coordinating with internal teams to ensure client needs are manageable and met in a timely manner

    • Contribute to the planning of client trips, identifying key meetings and ensuring all clients receive the appropriate level of service

    • When required, assist in the management of relevant prospect activity including the coordination of RFPs and overseeing the completion of any general queries

    • Responsible for the client take-on process from appointment and contract stage to funding  as well as ongoing client changes as part of the CTO process in Salesforce

    • Ensure all correspondence with clients are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner, and filed electronically in accordance with Walter Scott filing and Salesforce procedures

    • Record management for the appropriate client segment, including updating and maintaining Salesforce records, and all folders within the client drives

    • Coordinate all mailings related to client specific communications

    • As assigned Records Management Coordinator for the team – to act as first point of contact for all departmental records management issues and to supervise the management and maintenance of the department’s paper records, shared network drive(s), and business email records.
       
      General

    • Be able to articulate the Walter Scott business model to the necessary parties both internally and externally
Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of Outlook

  • Working knowledge of internal systems including Eagle and Salesforce

  • Degree Educated
