Client Biller - International Advertising Agency

An exciting Biller position at a leading communications agency with some of the most high-profile clients in the country has become available. This role is ideal for someone looking to take on a diverse range of responsibilities within a highly dynamic environment while fitting in with their sociable and forward-thinking culture.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Billing:
-Ensuring all production and fee billing is completed accurately and on time
-Minimising accrued income by liaising with relevant parties
-Assisting the credit controller in resolving aged debtor issues
• WIP and Job Management:
-Authorising all production costs and job related expenses, ensuring all costs are recoverable from clients
-Tracking production spend against agreed budgets highlighting potential overspends to the relevant production teams
-Setting up and running regular and ad-hoc meetings with account management and production to ensure WIP issues are addressed, job statuses are clarified, final reconciliations are promptly authorised and jobs are duly closed
• Reporting and Forecasting:
-Liaising with the Commercial team to understand the agreed client fees, retainers, scope of work and the agreed methodology for working with each client
-Review income forecasts and scopes of work to ensure income for new jobs is being correctly forecasted
Ad-hoc support to the wider billing team

You must have worked in a Billing or Accounts Receivable position previously and ideal candidates will also come from an agency background. You will have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment and be able to work well individually as well as a key member of the team. It is essential that you have excellent communication and organisational skills as this is a commercial position where you will be visible to the wider business.
