Job Description:

Regulatory agencies are continuing to place a tremendous amount of oversight expectations when our clients outsource services to First Data. ContolVIEW allows First Data to take these regulatory expectations and transform them into a value proposition by offering superior levels of service and thought leadership on risk management topics. This candidate will be crucial to the execution of a key First Data strategic initiative to differentiate ourselves by delivering accurate and timely risk management information that seamlessly integrates into our clients’ third-party oversight programs.   

ControlVIEW is in the process of piloting its program to clients in EMEA and APAC. A large part of this role will be to serve as an interface between First Data and its clients on the topics of governance, compliance, security, control and oversight (GCSCO). The candidate will deliver consulting, presentations and coordination activities of GCSCO topics and activities to clients. Additionally, he/she will need to oversee all client initiated audit activities relating to GCSCO topics and assist with the development and rollout of GCSCO scorecards/metrics.

Another significant part of this role supports the ControlVIEW Information Assurance team. As a Manager, he/she is responsible forleading a global team of individuals that liaise between customer facing positions and subject matter experts across First Data to provide accurate, meaningful, appropriate and consistent information about First Data’s GCSCO practices. In general, the Manager is accountable for team deliverables in accordance with established business expectations. However, the Manager can also have a direct impact on new sales and retained revenue. Therefore, it is critical that the individual in this role shows a commitment to meeting both existing and prospective customer response timeframes.

Both roles require strong writing skills in order to develop written responses to technical questions and create executive overviews of oversight programs.  Understanding of business operations, policies and practices is required to research and report on related topics.A strong knowledge of overall IT functions and technologies is also required, as technical responses must map to specific protocols.  

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop responses to assessments and other inquiries. This includes:

    • Seeking clarification of requests and organizing information exchange protocols

    • Partnering with subject matter expert to ensure requests are met and delivered in a timely manner

    • Ensuring responses align with client expectations, timelines and contract requirements.

  • Working with Management to prepare reports on GCSCO activities and progress

  • Ensure department methodologies, project delivery and implementation management processes are followed.This includes managing and driving:

    • Project/Program workflows

    • Escalations and issue management

    • Managing scope change

  • Provide clear and concise communication; both written and verbal

  • Oversee department quality and communications with internal and external stakeholders

  • Drive the execution and continuous improvement of the program operations, policies and procedures

Must have strong collaborative and negotiation skills; problem solving skills; analytical skills; decision-making skills; excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management; occasional travel may be required.

Candidate Requirements:

·Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, plus proven progressive management experience, including people and project management

·Proven success in delivering results on time while ensuring customer satisfaction

·Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection and implementation

·Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·Proficiency in Microsoft tools (particularly Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint)

·Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Financial Services, and Payments industry as well as client-facing experience preferred
