Clerk to the Governing Body

Annualised Contract: Part-time, 6hrs per week

Salary: GLPC 35-40 pro-rata (£7,302- £8,144)

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a motivated, well-organised and flexible Clerk to provide advice and guidance to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters. A professional Clerk will contribute towards the efficient functioning of our governing body and its committees by providing administrative and organisational support; guidance to ensure that the body works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework and provide advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the body. We would ideally like to appoint an experienced Clerk with a certificate in the NGA Clerking of School and Academy Governing Boards (or equivalent), however, candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
