An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer. You will provide clerical support within a busy inpatient scanning team within Health Records at QEUH, ensuring accurate and timely recording of documentation for all hospital admissions. The role also involves dealing with enquiries from other departments, patients and members of the general public. You will operate a computerised patient management system (TrakCare), ensuring patient information is accurate and up to date in compliance with the Data Protection Act, to support patient care and facilitate national returns. You will also ensure electronic tracer system is accurately updated when extracting and filing case records and on delivery and collection of scanning folders and answer telephone and deal with enquiries from a variety of sources both internal and external. You should have good computer knowledge with good keyboard skills. There is full and part time positions available with this post, please mark onto the top of your statement of support which post you would most like to apply for if you have a preference. The shift pattern for this post is full time 37.5hrs: Week 1: 3x11.5hr shifts, Week 2: 3x11.5hr shifts and Week 3: 3x11.5hr shifts and 1x9hr shift.
