Our public sector client based in Washington have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clerical Assistant to join their busy team.

Temporary contract

Immediate start

Hours Full Time

Hours Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Excellent literacy and numeracy


Completing general administrative and clerical tasks · Reception/switchboard
Word-processing documents
Taking and preparing minutes at meetings

Knowledge of:
Relevant management information systems
Clerical practices and procedures
Electronic/paper filing systems

Demonstrate good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and bespoke IT systems
Prioritise own workload whilst working to conflicting deadlines · Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels · Input data and information accurately
Demonstrate attention to detail · Work on own initiative and effectively as part of a team
Take and prepare minutes of meetings.
