Cleaning Supervisor

ABOUT US

As the result of sustained growth and the recent award of a number of new contracts, we require a working Supervisor to join our construction site cleaning company. Established 14 years ago, we offer first-class cleaning services to a number of house builders in Bucks, Herts, Beds and Oxon.

THE ROLE

As a working supervisor, your duties will be to lead and motivate a team of cleaning operatives during the completion of new-build property cleans at various locations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard and in accordance with approved practices and Health & Safety regulations.

ABOUT YOU

Although someone with previous experience in this type of role would be ideal, we are happy to invest time and resources to train the right person. As a minimum, we would expect you to have had at least 1 year’s supervisory experience or be able to display the potential to man-manage staff in a demanding working environment. You must have the ability to represent our company in a professional manner and ensure that your team of cleaners do the same. As you will be required to build relationships with our customers and be able to effectively resolve their queries on a day to day basis, proven communication and interpersonal skills are vital. A full driving licence is essential to effectively fulfil this role.

In order to satisfy construction industry standards, you will be required to complete various accredited training courses.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Starting salary : £21,000 per annum (plus company vehicle and mobile phone)

WORKING HOURS

Normal working hours are 07:30 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday) although, due to the demands of our customers, you may occasionally be required to work outside of these times.
