You will display high standards of customer care, providing a helpful and friendly service. Working with the cleaning team to ensure cleanliness is kept at all times.
You should have accommodation cleaning experience either in hotels or similar environments and be available to work any 5 days from 7 on a rota basis
Duties will include, cleaning by hand using approved cleaning substances. Cleaning internal glass on doors & windows and polishing (using approved products) and dusting of designated areas (which may include sanitary areas and associated facilities), using where appropriate, the necessary powered equipment. Designated areas may include stairways, skirting boards, ledges, sills, notice boards, internal glass, curtains, blinds, doors, desks, tables, chairs, lamps, telephones, cabinets and bookcases.
You will also be expected to specially prepare conference delegate rooms. Deep cleaning of rooms prior to start of conference use, bed making and some minor movement of furniture may be necessary.
You have a responsibility to work safely at all times and to report any potential hazards, faults or problems to a Team Leader or the Housekeeping Manager.
Uniform and any protective clothing required will be provided.
You will be expected to attend and complete compulsory training as required.
