My client based in Newcastle is looking for a Cleaner to join the team.
Maintains apartments by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing; providing linen services.
Maintains cleaning schedule prioritising workload
Makes bed by removing and replacing sheets and pillow cases, checking blankets and bedspreads for soiling; replacing soiled items.
Removes miscellaneous debris by removing refuse, newspapers and general litter from apartment.
Refreshes bath area by cleaning tub, sanitising toilet, and sinks; removing used towels and bathmats; replacing bath linens.
Replenishes apartment supplies by restocking toiletries and checking welcome packs.
Cleans floors by washing and vacuuming floors.
Maintains furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.
Conserves energy by closing shades and draperies; turning off heating / hot water and appliances of unoccupied properties.
Maintains apartment availability by notifying Head Housekeeper of readiness.
Keeps supplies ready by restocking housekeeping van at end of shift.
Ensures linen levels are adequate and prepared for days / week ahead as necessary.

The position is very physically demanding involving carrying heavy laundry bags and carrying cumbersome equipment between locations.
