School Cleaner
  • Hourly Rate: £11.44 paye
  • Location: Swindon SN2
  • Job Type: Part-time 12.5 hours per week (Mon to Thurs 1530 - 1800 Fri 1430 - 1700)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School Cleaner to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in specified areas of a school to a high standard. This role is integral to providing a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Ensure that classrooms, toilets, offices, tea points, and all allocated areas are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Comply with the service level agreement and follow the cleaning specification.
  • Use appropriate PPE/Uniform at all times during working hours.
  • Take instruction and advice from the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Willingness to use and experience in operating cleaning machinery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
  • Some cleaning experience in a school environment is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Demonstrate the behaviours as outlined in the company values.
  • Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service Check.
