Your new role
The school is seeking a member of staff for pupils who have dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism and hearing impairments and they are looking for Special Support assistants who can bring confidence, enthusiasm and motivation in the classroom, along with a smile and sense of humour.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to work with Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, ensuring they are included and are keeping on task in core subjects. The students are considered vulnerable but there will be a low level of interruption in class. The majority of your time will be spent working on a one to one basis however you may be expected to take some small groups.
What you'll get in return
Special Needs experience is highly desirable, however not essential. This role requires a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills.
We offer a competitive daily rate of pay and the position could potentially turn permanent for the right person.
