You must have had experience previously with working SEN children in Key Stage 1 age groups. You will be working with children that are identified with Autism within a mainstream school and will require the extra curriculum care.
You will need to be confident and able to deal with challenges that will require great communication skills, as in some cases you'll also need to use de-escalation techniques. You must be able to demonstrate the impact on how you'd foster a child into progressing and developing.
Numeracy and Literacy skills are required as the children will need support in both fields. Adapting bubbly nature will be an advantage so the children can build a relationship with you.
