Class Teachers: KS1/KS2

Posted 27 March by Harris Federation Featured

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, qualified teachers to join our school in September 2018, with opportunities available in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park is a primary academy for local children. Our belief is that children thrive when they are consistently happy and safe at school. Whatever a child’s background or starting point, we want to make sure that they finish Year 6 with the academic skills, social skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Every lesson at our school is creative and there is plenty of time for children to think, to play, to discover and wonder. In addition, from the age of 3, parents have the option to start their children in Harris Peckham Park Nursery.

You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class. You will work alongside your year group partner to assess, plan and carefully orchestrate with your teaching assistant, the best provision possible resulting in all children making accelerated progress and reaching at least national standards.

What we are looking for:

  • QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • An excellent teacher with a proven record of raising standards in reading and writing.
  • A teacher who can accelerate progress and at least reach national standards.
  • Someone who shares our passion, commitment, drive, enthusiasm, and hardworking ethos.

Why work at Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park?

  • The opportunity to help lay the foundations to build a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment, helping all children make the best start to their academic journey
  • The opportunity to help children thrive and have a happy and safe primary school experience
  • Generous Harris rewards and benefits package
