I am pleased to be working with an Ofsted graded "Outstanding" Primary School based in Grays, Thurrock. The School are seeking a tenacious Year 4 Class Teacher for the duration of the Autumn Term 2018. The position is full-time and temporary for the first term, however there are opportunities to apply for the permanent post that is available in January 2019.
The School are a larger than average primary school that has high EAL but significantly higher than average attainment and progress from Reception to Year 6. They have an extremely strong leadership team that has brought about significant improvements in recent years. This has meant that the school has developed a highly skilled team which work well together and provide a caring and nurturing environment. Pupils at the school have a love of learning in an environment that they feel safe and secure, this in turn is demonstrated in the high levels of respect that is shown to both staff and peers. The School has exceptional results in Writing, Reading and Numeracy in Year 6 results.
The school are looking for a dynamic Key Stage 2 teacher who strives for the best results possible. They want teachers who are also committed to maintaining high standards and who have a good working knowledge of the curriculum. You must also be able to demonstrate good classroom management and be able to build good rapport with both students and parents.

What we are looking for:
- Confidence in classroom management
- Experience in delivering the KS2 curriculum
- Ability to engage and inspire young people
- Drive and enthusiasm, high expectations and positive behaviour management
- Can work well as part of a team due to shared planning
- Be a fully qualified teacher (QTS) - NQT's are more than welcome
- 30 pupils in the Year 4 class
- 2 form entry and shared planning across the year group
- TA in the classroom in the mornings
- Right to work in the UK
- Reference provisions in the last 2 years
- Be able to attend lesson observations and interviews with advanced notice
