Class Teacher

A Primary School within the Handsworth area is working with Monarch Education recruiting a qualified teacher to support a year groups with in KS1. The position will start in March 2018 on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year, the school is welcoming NQT'S to apply.

As the class teacher you will be required to support the pupils within their educational needs, you must have a good understanding of the national curriculum and can mark work against the national benchmark.

It is essential that you have previously had phonics' training and can implement that training into your teaching for those students that require extra support in reaching their learning targets.

You must be able to tailor your teaching for students that learn at a lower ability than others, on occasion you may have to work with SEN / MLD pupils in a group or on a 1:1 level.
You will be responsible for creating assessments and recording the data to ensure that there is learning development which can be liaised to parents and other teachers.

The primary school is looking for someone who is confident has excellent communication skills and strong behavior management and can follow school's policy.
