CLASS 1 DRIVER - CONTAINERS

HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver; required for our prestigious client based in Widnes. Rates of pay are from £11.00 - £15.00 per hour, working various shifts on a 24/7 run operation. We have days and nights available, the main base of the work will be involving containers - Experience preferred but training is offered. Monday to Friday with optional weekends available.

Our client is a well-established Road Transport division of a household known logistics organisation. They have over been operating for over 40 years in the industry and have built up a portfolio of blue chip clients across the UK and Europe and have vacancies for HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers. As a business, they operate a large fleet that is capable of covering anything from store deliveries through port and rail collections and deliveries.

Responsibilities;

  • Carry out a multitude of deliveries to a variety of clients
  • Liaise with the transport department throughout your shift
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to Drivers Hours regulations
  • Utilise POD systems

To be suitable for the role;

  • Hold a HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers Licence
  • Hold both CPC & Digital Tachograph cards
  • Have a professional approach and have a checkable work history
