Your new company
Your new role as Claims Assistant is with a niche Underwriter and Insurer with offices in the UK, US and Europe. They underwrite over 100 classes of speciality insurance in around 200 countries. You will be joining an expanding team of claims specialists based in our clients London City office.
Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting a team of around 4 underwriters who handle business from the U.S. The role will involve general administration duties together with an element of claims processing using the Lloyd's market systems. You will be required to support the claims team by undertaking basic tasks such as contacting clients to confirm claims information and assist in special projects such as file reviews or work flow analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need strong organisational and analytical skills together with the ability to work to strict deadlines. You will also require solid written and verbal communication skills and be able to prove that you have the ability to multi task effectively.
