We're looking for an experienced Claims Handler, with commercial experience, to join their busy team of insurance professionals, based full-time in Taunton.
You’ll be highly organised with fantastic diary skills and a passion for customer service and professionalism.
The main duties include:
- Handling and managing all claims for a portfolio of clients - dealing with incoming reports of claims, providing advice on best practice, ensuring that insurers meet deadlines and that the client is kept up to date
- Maintaining client records and able to produce client reports as required
Attending and managing client meetings on claim reports
- Technical Reference point on claims
Managing & maintaining the internal claims database
The successful candidate must have:
- Claims Handler experience within a commercial insurance business
- Excellent administrative skills and background
- Knowledge of commercial products and insurance market
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion for customer services and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of FCA, DPA etc.
