Handling calls from existing customers, third parties and their representatives will be the biggest part of your role. You will also be fielding general queries from customers so you will need to manage your time effectively.
You will take ownership of third party claims and ensure personal injury claims are identified and processed - a sound knowledge of FCA regulations and legal frameworks will support your decision making.
You will be negotiating claims costs which requires extensive experience and confidence built up within most likely an accident management, credit hire or insurance environment.
Maintaining first class customer service while dealing with these complex claim enquiries and analysing them for any fraudulent activity will be the expectation. Which is why a proven track record within motor claims is a requirement for this role. Even better if you have experience within third party claims!
You will need to be proactive - chasing claims to ensure settlement is reached within a timely manner
As you can imagine, you will be work to clear and specific targets within the role so not only do you need to be comfortable with this you need to be able to thrive within a customer focused, targeted environment.
