Barker Munro Recruitment has a great opportunity for an experienced claims handler to work for a leading Commercial insurance broker within their busy claims team.
The role will involve providing advice and claims support to Commercial insurance clients and scheme members to ensure that the submission of new claims through to a satisfactory conclusion are reached.
You will act as a primary point for claimants and establish effective relationships with both claimants and insurers, advise claimants on policy guidelines referring to Insurers for confirmation of cover / pre-authorisation. You will issue claims forms and guidance notes confirming cover and ensure all contentious and high cost claims are escalated for review as appropriate.
Dealing with a broad range of insurance risks including Public Liability, Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity Claims so any experience in these areas will be beneficial.
