As a Claims Handler you’ll be responsible for communicating with our customers, giving advice and support to highest level possible for any queries relating to a claim. A key part to your role will be managing claim from start to finish ensuring a smooth process throughout, this will require you to liaise with insurance companies, 3rd party and internal suppliers ensuring the customer is regularly updated to any progress made. You’ll organise estimates and repairs, create invoices and chase purchase invoice queries with suppliers to reach a speedy conclusion.
You’ll need great customer service skills and you’ll be the kind of person who thrives in a busy and fast-moving environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. You’ll have excellent MS Office skills too, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. A relevant NVQ or any experience of Audatex/Glassmatix type estimates would be advantageous. And, if you’ve previously worked in an insurance, claims or body shop environment, so much the better.
