Claims Handler - FTC
Due to expansion, one of the UK’s leading, independently owned Legal Expenses companies is looking to recruit a Claims Handler on a 12-month FTC.
This firm is a true pioneer in its field, offering unrivalled insurance products and services throughout the UK. Communication is one of the most important elements during the journey of a claim, and our client has responded to this by providing an online, real time website, for all clients to view.
You will effectively manage losses from first notification through to final settlement, in line with current case law and Ministry of Justice regulations. Using your influencing skills, you will promote the use of the company’s Recovery, Credit Hire and Personal Injury services. Using your technical skills, you will ensure that there is no leakage in relation to loss of income or length of recovery period. Whilst delivering against agreed targets and business objectives, you will negotiate effectively to maximise the recovery of your allocated debt target.
This is a varied and challenging role, within a company that is enjoying unprecedented levels of growth. Whilst you will be expected to work hard, being an independently-owned business, you will enjoy working in a friendly and supportive family-orientated environment.
It is essential that you have previously managed Motor files from first notification of loss (FNOL) to final settlement, in either a legal or insurer background. Just as importantly, you will be an excellent communicator, with a positive attitude and effective decision-making skills.
In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary of up to £17K, plus a lucrative uncapped monthly bonus (average earnings £200-£300 a month). You will also benefit from additional perks, including free parking.
