Claims Audit and Service Improvement Manager
Salary: £45,753 to £51,668 pa

NHS Resolution operates a number of indemnity schemes, on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, primarily for the handling of liability claims against English NHS Trusts and other commissioners and/or providers of NHS care.
We are looking for talented and experienced Claims Auditors to join our dedicated Claims Audit and Service Improvement Team.
As a Claims Audit and Service Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the internal and external audit function and working with the Audit Team Manager to both inform the audit process and monitor the delivery of actions arising from audit recommendations.
This key role within the claims function provides an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help shape future developments and promote quality improvement within the Claims function at NHS Resolution while ensuring the delivery of high quality audit function including complex and non-complex clinical negligence and non-clinical liability cases.
The post holder will be expected to provide support in the setting of strategy and the implementation of new policies affecting all claims schemes, assist and provide support in the monitoring of delivery against NHS Resolution’s Business Plan and lead on the formulation of implementation plans for the introduction of service changes in conjunction with the Audit Team Manager.

A written assessment will form part of the selection process and may be used for further shortlisting. The written assessment will be undertaken in the week commencing 12/10/20.
Interviews and further assessments will be held via conference call or video based interaction rather than face to face meetings The interview date will be in the week commencing 26/10/20and will be used to assess knowledge, skills and competency.
