We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Sheffield based Law Firm for a Claims Assistant to join their expanding team.
The role is situated within the initial inquiries department of the litigation team and will involve providing administrative and client care support to the legal advisors. Responsibilities will include;
- Updating computer systems with updated client uunformation
- Taking details and initial instructions over the phone from clients
- Assisting with the preparation of letters and documents
- Updating clients as to the progress of their matter
- Undertaking filing duties
- General Legal Administration.
The firm are seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual with proven experience of legal administration or customer service.
You will be an excellent communicator with a a good grasp of Microsoft computer packages.
You will also be expected to have experience of working to deadlines and under pressure.
An understanding of the Claims and Civil Litigation process would be an advantage.
