Claims Assessor

My client is recruiting for a Claims Assessor to work in their team of around 20 staff.

Key duties will include:

  • Ensuring valid claims are processed quickly and accurately
  • Ensuring correct payments are made on eligible claims, providing full explanation when payment has been declined
  • Pass possible fraudulent or incomplete claims to the Verifier for confirmation
  • Input and update bank details and personal information onto records
  • Input details of claims
  • Respond to queries regarding claims
  • Assisting other claims staff as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong team player
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills essential
  • Self motivated and able to use own initiative
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, organise work and meet deadlines

Candidates must have Grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent)

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week between 8.00am and 6.00pm (on a rota basis)

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
