Claims Assessor x3

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Insurance company who are looking to recruit a number of French OR Italian speaking Claims Assessors/Handlers into their Travel Insurance function in East Sussex.

Within this role as a Claims Assessor you will work in a busy, multilingual team handling inbound enquiries from policyholders who want to make a claim on their Travel Insurance policy. Claims can range from curtailment, missed/cancelled/delayed flights, loss of luggage/loss of personal items, medical expenses and many more. You will receive first notification of loss, set up cases on the system and assess and and investigate each individual claim. You will be trained to be able to identify and manage fraudulent activity, you will be able to settle (pay out) or decline claims supported by relevant findings.

This role requires excellent team work, attention to detail and customer service skills.

Hours - 37.5 hour shift from Monday to Friday. Your shift will fall between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm
Salary - £competitive basic salary + annual bonus of £1,300 and excellent company benefits

Initial 6 weeks training will predominantly be office based, thereafter you can work from home x2 days a week.

Experience -

• All applicants must be fluent in both English and Italian OR French
• Experience gained from an insurance/claims background desirable not essential
• Experience in a telephone based/customer service setting essential
