Barker Munro recruitment are working with a top insurance employer in the region who are currently looking to add to their Claims team with the addition of a claims advisor.
The role of the claims advisor is to manage and assess claims in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with the benefits and clauses within the policy.
You will handle claims from first advice to settlement and within this claims process you will be responsible for all elements of the claims process including investigating, negotiating and settling the claims whilst keeping communications open with the customer. You will deal with customer queries by post, email and on the phone whilst also arranging payment of the claims.
To be considered for the role of claims advisor, you will ideally be able to demonstrate knowledge of claims or at least some knowledge and awareness of insurance, in particular travel insurance. Consideration will also be given to candidates who can show a background in good team work within a busy office environment.

Shift patterns involved over a 40 hour week.
