The client I'm currently working with is a multi-disciplinary, leading, international consultancy. They've 6 offices in the UK and 10 around the Globe. An opportunity has opened to join the ever-growing team in there Bristol office.
Due to increased demand in their Bristol office, they are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their team. The Civil Engineering Technician that joins this stable team will report into the Senior Civil Engineer and with their guidance be responsible for:
Delivering S38/S104 and S278 designs relating to drainage and highways
Producing environmental assessments
Liaising with internal team members and external consultants
Carrying out topographical surveys
Setting out coordination
Along with this, they're looking for someone who can be versatile in the role, an opportunity (along with the civils sides) is available to cover some structural work also. A training scheme to help get up to date with REVIT has been put in to place to work hands on with the Directors. Great opportunity for a keen, enthusiastic technician to develop into a multi-disciplinary engineer.
The Technician that joins this team will be proficient in the use of WinDes, Microdrainage and AutoCAD. You will either be working towards or hold a HND in Civil Engineering. Hands on experience within a residential environment would be preferable but other backgrounds will also be considered. The most important requirement for this team, is that the Civil Engineering Technician that joins them is hard working, applies themselves to the task in hand and is a team player.
This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technician who may have recently graduated or is working towards their HND on a part time basis, who is looking to kick start their career within the Residential / Commercial / Industrial / Education and many more schemes for the International consultancy.
