Cisco Customer Support Engineer (Shift)

Up to £25k pa base plus £7k pa shift allowance plus bonus and benefits


*****NOTE: this is a 24/7 shift role*****


  • Support customers, engineers and field service engineer in technical solution of services and incident management
  • Provide 2nd line support with system issues.
  • Manage event tickets.
  • Perform support diagnostics with occasional support co-ordination duties in response to customer incidents
  • Report, manage and progress incidents that are to be resolved by 3rd party contractors/service partners

Experience Required:

The successful must have the following skills and experience:

  • Would suit a 2nd line support technician from an IT or telecoms background
  • Strong Cisco experience with ideally a CCNA or CCNP if possible
  • ITIL Foundation in Service Operations - ideal but not essential
  • The ability to work independently and self-manage
  • Ability to prioritize workloads
  • Excellent organisational skills
