CI19823 - Clinical Systems Information Manager, ICU
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary ICU has
recently committed to the purchase of a new clinical information data capture
system.This data capture system will
render the General and Cardiac Intensive Care Units paper free with all bedside
information being recorded and stored electronically.
This new band 7 position is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and motivated
individual to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
The function of this post will be to fully manage the installation timeline,
maintenance schedule and staff education in relation to this data capture
This role will include involvement in all stages of design layout, construction
& installation of this system and to be principally responsible for the
development and delivery of local education programmes for staff.Education programmes will include the entire
ICU nursing team, AHP and medical workforce and ensure the operational
capability of all staff groups using the system.
This is an exciting & challenging new post which will
help bring new technology to the bedside and revolutionise Intensive Care
delivery in Aberdeen.
In Autumn 2018, Aberdeen will become one of
the first Major Trauma Centres in Scotland and play a key role in leading the
way in delivering specialist trauma care.The North of Scotland Major Trauma Centre based in Aberdeen is one of
