We are currently looking for a Christmas Casual mail sorters for Atherstone. Our client Royal Mail are naturally very busy at this time of year and require addition resource to help handle the increased volumes of mail. Shifts will commence from late October through to January 2018.

Working along side Royal Mail employee’s you will work as part of a team ensure the delivery of service to the highest standards expected by Royal Mail. In the mail centre you will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving large volumes of mail around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. It is a fast paced environment and you will be working to efficient methods to meet the needs of the business and hit the required targets. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you will be a valuable part of making that happen.

Pay Rates £9.30 - £10.30 per hour All applicants will be expected to be: • Punctual and reliable • Able to work to tight deadlines • Accurate and have attention to detail • Flexible and adaptable as you are likely to undertake several different tasks in one shift • Able to stand for long periods of time • Able to push trolleys weighing up to 250kg

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to undergo security screening and background checking. All applicants will be required to supply a checkable work history covering the past 5 years and be able to provide current Right to Work Documents.

Typical shifts available at this site are: EARLIES 06:00 - 14:00 LATES 14:00 - 22:00 Most locations work across 7day week, 24 hours shifts. The shift times are subject to change based on mail volume forecasts. Part time shifts may be available.
