Permanent Support Workers Required for Children & Young Persons Service

We are currently representing a client who have some amazing opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us as a Support Worker at a service for Children and Young People with Disabilities located only a 20 minutes’ drive away from Norwich City Centre.

We are looking for experienced people with a caring and calm approach to help support and empower the children and young people. You need to be calm, considerate, and resilient as the children can present complex emotional and behavioural needs.

At the service a main aim is to enable to Children and Young People to be as independent as possible within a fun and caring environment.

The ability to work on a rota basis will be essential as the role will include evening, weekend work along with sleep in’s.

Candidates should also hold a full valid driving licence.


It is desirable for the candidates to have a relevant Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce Diploma or equivalent, or be prepared to complete one within the role.

Additional Information:

Hours: 38 per week

Salary: The current full time salary scale for this position is £19,344 to £19,691 per annum, depending on qualifications (maximum job rate potential is £20,430 per annum which is performance related).
