Seven Social Care are currently seeking to speak to an experienced social worker to support fostering and adoption team on a temporary 2 month contract. Subject to requirements this position may be extended
The Postholder for this position will be a qualified social worker with previous experience of working in a fostering or adoption team; or with an independent fostering agency. Dependent upon experience the postholder will be entitled to up to £168.85 per day and required to work 37 hours each week.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Holding a caseload of Foster Carer's and Prospective Adoption Parents; Offering support, training and supervision to ensure that looked after children's needs are appropriately met
- Undertake Core Assessments/Form F Assessments
- Producing and Preparing appropriate reports
- Attending family proceedings in Court
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work
- Registered Social Worker with HCPC
- Previous Experience in Fostering/Adoption and the recruitment of Foster Carers
- Full Driving Licence
