Posted 9 January by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing Ended

My client is looking for a Children's Night Practitioner for their organisation based within the Cumbria area. My client is an expanding residential childcare provider based on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England. They provide high quality, highly nurturing and life changing residential childcare in small homely environments. Their childcare teams are hand picked for experience and compassion and they care deeply about ensuring that each young person they care for has the best possible life chances to grow and develop.

You must have experience working within a childrens home and ideally have your QCF level 3 or willingness to work towards this.

This is a full time position and the salary ranges from £7.52 to £8.76 depending on experience.

You will look after the children and support emotionally and practically through reflection and intellectual progression and endeavour to be the best practitioners they can be. The people my client looks after our children who will be supported to truly care about them, help and support them to understand and try and make sense of some of the trauma they have experienced. This will lead to enabling the children to explore what that means for them so that they can make gradual changes towards a life in which they can start to embrace whatever the future holds for them.

The children will live in vibrant, dynamic, flexible places where the adults and the young people co- create a real living environment together.
