Childrens Deputy Home Manager

My client is looking for a Deputy Home Manager for their Home based within the north Shropshire Area. My Client is one of the UK's leading providers of therapeutic care, specialist education and clinical services to children and young people with very challenging behaviour.

You will need at least two years' experience of residential care with young people, and also have Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma or equivalent, a full driving licence and the flexibility to travel and work shifts.

You will be required to provide leadership and support to staff teams to ensure high quality therapeutic care is delivered to young people as part of my clients integrated service. Acting as leader, role model and co-ordinator of shifts and fully deputising for the Registered Home Manager in their absence due to sickness or annual leave. To help develop the staff team's knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and processes, taking the lead and co-ordinating as required. To take a lead in the development and implementation of the young person's Quality of Life Plan across the integrated services.
