Work Relief Charity Recruitment is pleased to continue working with a local charity specialising in providing emotional and practical support to those affected by domestic violence.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Children, Young People and Family Services Team Leader. You will be an integral part of the team and will be responsible for the line management of three practitioners delivering front line services to children who have been affected by domestic abuse. You will supervise and staff in conjunction with the Operations Manager, contribute to the delivery of their services and contribute to the evaluation of their work.

You will have excellent communication skills, previous experience of line management within social work or working with children, young people and families, as well as a drive and passion for improving outcomes for children and families. You will be motivated by improving the quality of the work provided by the team, have experience of delivering high quality, reflective supervision and expertise in the field of safeguarding.

The post holder will be based in Westcliff and at other local sites within the Southend borough.

Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 FTE (pro rata), subject to qualifications and relevant experience

Hours: 30 hours per week

Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum (pro rata)
