Your new company
A local authority based in various sites within West Sussex are focused on permanency within Children's Services staff in order to provide more longevity in their staffing. The long term goal is to replace locum staff with permanent passing the stability onto the children and families if the county.
Your new role
The vacancies within the authority include teams such as; Family Support & Protection (FSP), Assessment & Intervention (A&I), Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Children Looked After (CLA). The locations of these vacancies include Horsham, Bognor Regis, Worthing and Crawley.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the roles you will require a HCPC registration and a Social Work degree. You must have completed your ASYE or have 2+ years experience. Children and families experience is a necessity with child protection / court experience advantageous.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of between £31,477 and £41,025 dependent on the level of experience you previously hold. The authority is notoriously positive on career progression with there being 4 grades for social workers to grow, this is achieved through a panel process. There is also up to a £10,000 relocation package available.
