Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Care Proceedings, child protection matters and complex childcare cases
  • Deliver clear and compassionate legal advice to clients during sensitive proceedings
  • Represent clients in court and liaise with local authorities, guardians and experts
  • Mentor junior solicitors and contribute to team development
  • Maintain strong client relationships with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Support the firm’s long-term strategy in childcare and public family law

Your Profile:

  • Qualified Childcare Solicitor with at least 4+ years' PQE
  • Experience handling complex public law children matters
  • Children Panel Accreditation is highly desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of legal aid procedures and child protection legislation
  • Excellent advocacy, negotiation and client care skills
  • Proactive, organised and capable of managing a busy caseload
