About the Role
We are looking for a practitioner who is energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children in Early Years. You will assist in the day to day running of the setting, working as part of a team to create a happy, stimulating and safe learning environment where children are free to develop intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. They should be passionate about child centred learning and committed to teaching through play-based activities and experiences. The successful candidate will also fulfil a key person role to children aged 3-4 years and should be confident in tracking and planning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
You must have a clear understanding of the EYFS and the ability to use this effectively in everyday practice, ensuring that all individual children’s needs are being met.
You must be committed to delivering high quality care and education for two to four year olds and providing a safe and secure environment for them to develop and learn as they prepare for school.
You must have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding practice and be able to confidently implement this in your day to day practice.
You must be a strong team player with the skills and ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, children and parents.
