Exciting opportunity for a Chief Surveyor to manage the department in a large PLC house builder.

Your new company

You will be working for a well known and well established house builder based out of the Bristol office. The company has a very healthy land portfolio and can offer progression, support and variation.

Your new role
You will be the Chief Surveyor reporting directly in to the Commercial Manager. It will be your responsibility to manage a team of 10 fellow Surveyors ranging from Assistants to Senior Surveyors. You will look after one of your own projects but your main responsibility will be to manage and nurture the less senior employees to reach their full potential.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience within a volume house building business and be able to demonstrate strong commercial skills. You will be confident in your ability to manage a team, deal with issues, manage schedules and also be able to take responsibility for your teams actions.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a generous salary dependent on experience of £55,000 - £65,000. On top of this there is a bonus scheme of 10% annually, pension, car or car allowance etc.
