Chief-Operating-Officer - FXCFD

A unique and high level COO vacancy has opened up within a well-established global FXCFD firm based in the heart of the City of London.

Due to the seniority of this position, the role requires someone with extensive experience and knowledge of the CFD / FX industry in a similarly senior position as you will hold overall operational management of all functions within the company.

Core duties

  • Perform FX/CFD project oversight to produce consolidated line of business level project reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting across the broad portfolio of projects run by the company by coordinating those involved
  • Capture key project metrics and information for executive level reporting
  • Work with Departmental Managers on developing their forecasts (resources, budget)
  • Establish internal control framework and procedures within the company
  • Identify and address operational risk and control issues within the company as a member of the Risk Committee
  • Work across the company when operational issues are identified and help compile and devise remediation plans
  • Enforce and perform Compliance coordination to ensure the company is meeting all regulatory and control requirements
  • Interact across the organisation daily on the above
  • Manage the company’s hiring requirements
  • Vendor management


  • Extensive experience and knowledge in FX/CFD industry, both in the retail and institutional space
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact productively with relevant members across the company
  • Ability to engage with senior management / executive level management
  • Presentation of data and concepts clearly and concisely
  • Adaptable / flexible to respond to constantly changing business
  • Proven ability to learn and develop new skills in role
  • Intermediate/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to track and manage many different types of efforts and data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Organized with good time management skills
