Description of the role

We are looking for a machine learning engineer to join the team, to work with the team to build for automated misinformation detection and verification. You will be supported by a NLP researcher and the CTO. This position is similar to the NLP researcher role but is more focused on the engineering aspects of algorithm development.

What you'll be doing

- Building a full scale information extraction pipeline with scheduling, continuous integration and big data server management with containerisation, extracting relevant entities using NLP pipelines
- Testing and improving our algorithms using research and applying new papers into direct production systems
- Developing systems and techniques to help us build out different stages of our automated verification system
- Helping to integrate the technologies you build into products that will have an immediate use
- Measuring and improving the quality of the algorithms
- Using NLP, ML, and data processing/search to push the boundaries of what's possible in automated content scoring, verification and contextual referencing
