The sought Chemistry Teaching Assistant will be exceptionally bright and passionate about sharing their knowledge of Sciences with others. With such a complex subject, the Chemistry Teaching Assistant will have the ability to break down complex topics into a fun, and enjoyable lesson! It is important that the Chemistry Teaching Assistant is enthusiastic and passionate and has the capability to inspire pupils to reach their academic potential.
The responsibilities of a Chemistry Teaching Assistant include proactively supporting all pupils in their chemistry lessons. You will work across all Key Stages and will be involved in all the Chemistry modules the school teaches. More specifically, Chemistry Teaching Assistants will lead 1:1 and group sessions for both high-achieving and struggling students. In these sessions, you will independently teach revision material and ensure a positive learning environment exists.
The school is in the centre of Newham, East London and has excellent transportation links both by car and public transport. It is known as a successful centre of learning within the community and has contributed to making significant differences to the prospects of young people since its opening.
