About the Job:

Teacher of Chemistry required for a high achieving 11-19 school based in Havering.

Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join the very successful Science Department. The school has excellent facilities, is over-subscribed and is attended by highly motivated students, who achieve excellent results.

The department also has strong links with professional bodies such as Imperial College, The Society for Biology, The Royal Society , The Royal Horticultural Society, Essex Wildlife Trust, The Institute of Physics and Pearsons Edexcel.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will teach Chemistry to KS4. The ability to teach KS5 Chemistry is welcome but not essential.

To be considered for this role, candidates will have:

  • QTS or QTLS.
  • The ability to teach Chemistry to KS4.
  • DBS on the update service.

The school achieves GCSE and A-Level grades significantly above the national average and they will be looking for the successful candidate to continue to maintain the high standards that the school and language faculty sets.
