Chemistry Teacher - Maternity Cover - About the role
A very established and thriving Comprehensive School in Llanelli is working with Broad Education Staffing to find a qualified and experienced teacher of Chemistry to register ASAP for subsequent trial work prior to Christmas 2017, with the successfully selected candidate being employed for the period of a maternity cover from January 2018 until the Summer Term 2018 initially, with the option to extend to Christmas 2018.
The role is expected to begin in January 2018, but as with all maternity covers, being able to start sooner in case of the departing teacher needing to leave sooner is always preferable. As such, the role could begin between now and Christmas.

Chemistry Teacher - Maternity Cover - What you will need
Candidates with the requisite qualifications and experience to teach Chemistry will be considered, however, candidates who are Science teachers, but who are unable to teach Chemistry specifically are asked to not apply for this particular role.
The role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure, so the successful candidate must provide (or be prepared to apply and pay for) a DBS certificate, registered with the DBS update service. Full assistance in applying is provided by Broad Education Staffing, with most checks being managed within 2 weeks.
It will also require EWC registration as a qualified teacher and the ability to provide at least 2 teaching references, including the most recent.
