Chemistry Analyst
Working hours can run from 6am to 10pm, so must have your own transport

The Chemistry Analyst will be responsible for:
* Analysis of a range of samples using various instrumental and wet chemistry techniques
* Calculations, interpretation and data entry of results onto a LIMS system
* Performing methods accurately and swiftly in accordance with SOP's to the highest standards of quality
* Performing daily checks including balances, pipettes and instruments
* Ensuring workstations and benches are clean and tidy to a high standard with sufficient reagents available
* Ensuring all work undertaken within the team complies with all relevant HSE, Quality, Regulatory and Accreditation standards and requirements including compliance of internal ALS policies and procedures.

To be successful in the Chemistry Analyst role you will have:
* Degree or equivalent scientific qualification (equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications)
* Previous experience of working in a GMP laboratory environment and/or HPLC experience is desirable
* Previous experience in a UKAS lab
* Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
* Proficient experience of Microsoft Office programmes and LIMS
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads alone or within a team
* Outstanding written, verbal communication and organisational skills
* Have a commitment to continual learning and development of self and team
