Chemistry Academic Mentor Specification
For this post, you must be a capable Science graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. You must show the ability to show an exemplary standard of communicative ability to all pupils. You should have the capability to give 100% to your teaching role due to your passion for educating the young. You must possess a positive approach to dealing with challenges and a welcoming manner and open arms.

About the Chemistry Academic Mentor Role
At this modern school, as a Chemistry Academic Mentor you will be joining a partuclarly high-attaining Science Department, where you will spend the majority of your time and you will be delivering fantastic provision to SEN pupils. You will have the responsibility of making the most of the extensive CPD on offer and taking charge of small groups of students and mentor others 1:1. As a Chemistry Academic Mentor you will be bringing a wealth of options to class teachers and senior leaders as you fill a floating role within the school. This Chemistry Academic Mentor position involves acquiring the skills to create an effective lesson plan by assisting the teacher with the planning and preparation of lessons.
