An opportunity for an experienced chemical regulatory affairs specialist to join the regulatory team at a global speciality chemical company. Duties will include general regulatory support with an initial focus on assisting with the REACH 2018 deadline. This role can be homebased anywhere in the UK.
The REACH programme is well underway, they have a number of external consultancies working on specific substances and managing the dossier preparation process. This role will involve project management of the external consultancies. You will be involved in keeping track of progress, costings, contracts, provision of data and keeping the company management informed. You will also be involved in general product stewardship duties including hazard communication, classification, providing certificates of conformance and regulatory advice to colleagues.
Suitable candidates will have proven chemical regulatory affairs experience, a good understanding of REACH and the registration process and specific experience in the management of REACH consultants or REACH consortium management. You must be well organised and have confident and robust communication skills.
